Today, it was Angie and I talking about post holiday depression, forgiveness, random acts of kindness and what our listeners can expect from the show in 2013!

OK, it's not that much of a downer show, but it's one to talk about issues on our mind and become more informed. Foreclosures on hold during holidays. Dec. 20 and Jan 1. by Bank of America for one - all major players. Doesn't halt it, just delays it. We view it as an annual publicity stunt that doesn't really help. Bryan spelled out tax info about capital gains and taxable income when you sell a house or even LOSE your house depending on where you were in value to loan ratio. Holidays, fear, why do they go together? We need to able to trust that our country has our backs - many people are very pessimistic and discouraged. We no longer have that feeling of supporting our country and being supported. Government is viewed as our enemy, sneaky, selfish and deaf.

Kristen Mosteller is back in the studio discussing a creative application that is launching to help engage children in making education fun.  This is a cause she deeply believes in.  I got on board yesterday.  You should look it up for your young ones and let us know what you think. letsleapforward.com. Angela was on the show, as well as we heard the passion Kristen has for this creative solution for inspiring children to learn.

This show was dedicated to bullying and all aspects of it to include the Bully profile.  We want to be sure that people know our radio program doesn't tolerate this behavior and we are trying to help build further awareness of how to get this to stop.  Also, how parents need to be involved in helping to stop this ever growing problem, helping them to get educated as well as discussion about the program Lisa has to offer (see BIO of person who was on).  Let me send you the bio of the person who was on and hopefully you can put enough copy together for this one. And as the Director of the Facilitator Empowerment Program for Motivating the Teen Spirit, she supports and trains adults to facilitate the Safe Space workshops. Through her work, she has impacted the lives of thousands of teen and adults, teaching them how to become powerful leaders through integrity-based decision-making, effective communication, and community involvement. Bryan interviews the beautiful, intelligent, incomparable Sandra Bernhard along with a lively panel discussion with his always energetic co-hosts Angela and Julie.

The dog's name was Tidus. Talking about recent news stories about this dog that was burned "for kicks" - animal cruelty has to stop. Those that do this are most likely to also be bullies, and even take it further by harming humans. It's about control - it's the same sick behavior. It's all about power. This is how these people seem to need to fill their need to be in control by abusing, harming and bullying others. More worried about people in our country - there is no excuse for the level of poverty and malnutrition due to financial struggle a HUGE percentage of families are facing. Angie reminded us of the airline advice, "Put your mask on first and then on your child." We need to put our masks on first as a country to be strong enough to help others after that. How can we walk over those in our own country that are starving, homeless, without healthcare as we head to the airport to ship money to other countries? Bryan counted his blessings that he still has his mom - what a gift!

Bryan, Martita Jara, Dr. Angela Moskovis, and Bryan's Mom talk about things we have to be thankful for and what Thanksgiving means to each of the panelists personally.  It was a great segment and we definitely talked about parental upbringing (yeah Mom!  miss my Pops!) and how crucial it is that parents be involved with their kids on all levels today. We also talked about the only way to success is through hard work and dedication.  We also got the scoop on whose scooping Martita for possible greatness!  It's only a matter of time before our favorite chef  has her own program and becomes the Latina Rachael Ray!

Ron Nash of Dream University and a Linked In guru visited with Bryan about the importance of networking on LinkedIn – even before you enter the workforce. Susan Finch joined the panel and talked about your online profile, remaining professional even if you think no one else can see it.  Younger people need to remember how to make eye contact and participate in engaging conversations. We were all wound up with this one, especially since I’m really bad about LinkedIn and participating. They both kicked my butt into gear and showed me the importance of this. Good grief – more to do!

Panelists Brian Daly and Patrick Clark from REIG Asset Management,  Bruce Levine (Real Estate Broker) question Eric Phillips of Georggin Law about their practice of deleting short sales, it’s viability etc..  This one I had the guy in the hot seat!!
